言わずと知れた有名廃墟、マヤカン。
夏になる前に踏破しておかねばと思い、緑の映える5月に行ってた。
あまりにも有名なので、此処であえて行き方を説明する必要もないだろう。
最寄りの六甲駅から30分でハイキングコースの入り口に辿り着く。
ネットで得た情報を頼りに“立入禁止”の看板を乗り越える。
山道にはかつての踏破者たちが残したのであろう、黄色いロープが至る所に垂れている。
「きっとこの道で合っているはず……。」
と信じながら急な斜面を登っていくこと30分、突然眼の前に入り口らしきものが現れる。

I went there in May because mosquitoes will appear in summer.
To get there, we must climb a steep mountain.
It cannot be recommended to beginners.
I climbed for 30 min, panting heavily.
Suddenly, its entrance was appeared.
曲線を描くような屋根が象徴的である。
和と洋が入り混じったような建築様式が時代を感じさせる。
足を踏み入れた瞬間、ひんやりとした空気が身体全体を包み込む。
まるで別の時代の空気がそのまま残っているようだ。
古い図書館のような匂いがした。
高まる興奮と緊張を抑えつつ、中へ入って行く。

The style of this hotel is different from others.
It seems to be mixed Japanese style and European style.
Outside was hot in spite of this season, but inside was very cool.
I also had peculiar feeling.
The air in this building has been remained since all people left this hotel.
赤と白の市松模様が、長年の時を経て良い味を出している。
現役時代、ここはロビーとして使われていたのだろうか。
耳を澄ますと、ざわざわと木々がこすれ合う音や、鳥のさえずり声、ロープウェイのアナウンスが聞こえる。
ロープウェイの駅はかなり近くにあるようだ。
見つからないように気をつけながら探索を続けよう。

I heard some natural sounds, soughing of the wind in leaves, the song of birds...
I had calm feeling.
寂れて機能しないキッチンの隣には大きな食堂があった。
世の廃墟探索者達は此処を“ダンス・ホール”と呼ぶ。
思わず、スーツやドレス姿に身を包んだ人々が優雅に踊る姿を妄想してしまう。
此処にいると、自然とそういう気持ちになってしまうのだ。

Actually, this hall was used as a restaurant.
But I imagined people dressed in formal are dancing with elegance.
有名な緑の部屋。
美しすぎて、しばらく立ち尽くしてしまった。
傍らには撮影のための造花や花瓶、2013年もののワインボトルが置いてある。
いろんな人が此処を訪れたようだ。

This room is called "green room".
Sunlight from outside is colored green by tree's leaves.
There were some items for taking photo.
Imitation flower, flower vase, and wine bottle of 2013...
These are proofs that many explores have visited here.
上の階には大きな劇場ある。
300人ぐらいは余裕で入りそうだ。

There was a great theater upstairs.
About 300 people are likely to enter.
タイル張りの風呂が複数あった。
こんな素敵な宿に泊まって、広い浴槽に浸かって、美味い物を食べて……。
昔の人が羨ましい。

Staying in such wonderful hotel, immersed in large bath, eating delicious foods...
People in the past are now envy.
ジブリ映画に出てきそうな部屋だ。
マヤカンといえば緑の部屋だが、教壇のような台が置かれたこの部屋も好きだ。
一時間ほど滞在したが、とても濃厚な時間が過ごせた。
一生忘れられない思い出になるだろう。

I also like this another green room.
It seems to come out from Studio Ghibli movie.
I stayed this hotel for only 1 hour, but it was really rich time.
I'll never forget this experience.
