【廃墟】奥多摩湖ロープウェイ ～Lake Okutama Lopeway～

最寄りのバス停から、Google Mapを確認しながら徒歩で進む。
その駅はGoogle Mapに記されていた位置に、確かに存在した。

30年前に運行休止が決まったときから、此処を訪れる者は探索者だけになってしまった。
再開するはずのないロープウェイが、今でも静かにその出番を待っている。

I got there by walking from the nearest bus stop, checking the place with Google Map.
The station was indeed present at the position written in Google Map.

From the time that stop of service was decided 30 years ago, those who visit here have been only ruin-explores.
The ropeway that should not be resumed, is waiting for its next work.

もう使われることのない改札口を通り抜けると、駅の中に入ることが出来る。
トイレや社員の休憩室、ロープウェイを管理する機械室などがそのまま残っているが、残留物はほとんど無い。

機械室に入ると、子供の頃に試乗した蒸気機関車の匂いがした。
ロープウェイを動かす歯車は、すっかり錆び付いてしまった。

After passing the ticket gate that will not be used anymore, I got inside of the station.
Toilet for passengers, restroom for employees and the machine room remained without demolition, though there was no items remember us their life.

The machine room smelled like a steam locomotive I tried to get on in childhood.
Gears to move the ropeway, had rusted completely.

ロープウェイの駅は２つあるのだが、天候の問題で片方しか訪問できなかった。
しかし、十分に退廃感と懐かしさを味わうことができた。
いつか運行が再開される日を願いながら、その地を後にした。

There are two stations of this ropeway, but I could visit only one of them, because of heavy rain afternoon.
However, I felt enough nostalgia and decadence.
I left there, hoping someday resuming its run.
